2.What Finance by Movee is
Finance by Movee is a web app (an installable PWA) for organizing your personal and family finances: recording income and expenses, planning with budgets, savings, loans and investments, reading invoices and statements, and generating reports.
It is not a bank or a regulated financial entity. It does not move money, does not process payments between third parties and does not offer credit products. It is a tool to help you see and understand your information.
Features have a status: available, beta or coming soon. Anything in beta may fail or change, and anything marked coming soon cannot be used yet.
3.Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Supervised accounts for minors aged 13 to 17 are pending and are not available today.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for making sure the information you record is correct. If you suspect someone else accessed your account, change your password and let us know.
4.Plans and limits
Finance by Movee has four plans: Básico, Starter, Pro and Plus. Each plan includes different features and usage limits, such as the number of transactions, shared lists or artificial intelligence uses.
Limits are applied on our servers, not only on screen. Plan prices are yet to be defined and will be announced before any charge is activated. You will not be charged anything without knowing it and accepting it.
- Básico: full use in manual mode, without artificial intelligence.
- Starter, Pro and Plus: raise the limits and enable AI features.
5.Artificial intelligence features
Some features use artificial intelligence to propose transactions from voice, text or photos, read invoices and statements, and generate reports and recommendations. The AI only proposes: you always review and confirm, and the AI never creates transactions on its own.
The AI can make mistakes. To use it you must give your express consent, because the content you send is processed by third-party artificial intelligence providers. More detail is in the Artificial intelligence notice.
6.No financial advice
The information, calculations, reports and recommendations in the app are for guidance and education only. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
Decisions you make based on the app are your responsibility. If you need to, consult an authorized professional.
7.Your content and other people's data
The data, documents and files you record or upload are yours. You give us the permission needed to store and process them for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
If you upload data about other people, for example your partner or relatives, you are responsible for having their authorization. If you record information about a minor, you declare that you are their legal representative and are authorized to process their data in the app.
8.Acceptable use
By using the service you agree not to do the following:
- Use the app for illegal or fraudulent activities.
- Try to access other people's accounts or data without permission.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the service, or overload it with abusive automated use.
- Upload content you have no right to use or that is malicious.
9.Intellectual property
The app, its design, its brand and its code belong to their owners and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer any rights over them to you, except the right to use the service while you have an account.
10.Availability and limitation of liability
Finance by Movee is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability or of being free of errors. There may be interruptions due to maintenance or third-party failures.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from financial decisions based on the information in the app, or for AI errors that you did not review before confirming. This does not limit rights that the law gives you and that cannot be waived.
11.Changes to these terms and acceptance
We may update these terms. Each version has a date, and we record which version you accepted. When there are important changes we will let you know in the app and ask you to accept the current version to keep using the service.
12.Suspension, termination and account deletion
We may suspend or close an account if these terms are breached or if there is a risk to the security of the service or of other people. Where possible, we will tell you first.
You can delete your account at any time from the app. When you do, we delete your data and keep only a minimal, anonymized record. Before that you can export your information in CSV format.
